Every moment matters in the lives of women with breast cancer. From the time spent during appointments, learning about your condition, to the evenings shared with loved ones, laughing on the sofa. These are the moments that count; the moments that give you the strength you need to pull yourself through the more difficult days.

The Moments That Count ambassadors, Lisa, Claire, Juliet and Laura, got together for a catch up, recounting to the camera and the wider breast cancer community about the time they were told their early breast cancer had recurred. One year on from their initial meeting, they describe their lives with metastatic breast cancer and their hopes for the future of metastatic breast cancer care.

In the video below our ambassadors discuss subjects like how they feel emotionally and physically when undergoing their cancer treatments and how important open conversations with a community of likeminded people truly are. Knowing there are people out there who understand and share their experiences has helped them cope over time.
